You are invited to the Hungry Talks Live Event (formerly Pitch Night) featuring the inaugural Sharpies Awards for the Advertising Industry. These awards recognise the work and contribution of the advertising industry professionals (that's you) and the agencies most admired by RMIT advertising students. It is one way for us to thank you for the inspiration and support you contribute to the future of advertising.
In advertising, the Sharpie pen is synonymous with creativity, from brainstorming to design. The brand boldly claims, "It All Started with a Sharpie". Since ideas are the currency of the advertising industry, RMIT advertising students want to recognise the work that inspires and helps us sharpen our skills.
There are four industry award categories. Finalists will be selected from a shortlist nominated for each category. Finalists will be notified by email before 10 October 2025. The winner in each category will be decided by the Hungry Talks Team based on votes collected from RMIT Advertising students. The awards will be presented at the Hungry Talks Live event on Wednesday, 22 October 2025. The 2025 Scamp Champ will also be presented to the RMIT student who demonstrates highly developed creative skills as a prolific responder to the Hungry Talks Quick Briefs.
